Stamford Welland Academy is committed to delivering high quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) which is personalised and impartial, to all of its students. CEIAG programmes are a crucial part of our students’ development, enabling young people make informed choices that will shape their future careers.

In partnership with outside agencies such as the Skills Service, we are able to provide opportunities for our students to access a variety of Employers, Colleges, 6th Form Centres and Apprenticeship providers.  These events will support students in their progression to Further and Higher Education, in to apprenticeships, and the wider world of work, whilst potentially opening their eyes to professions and careers they might never have thought of.

In addition to CEIAG in the curriculum, Stamford Welland Academy students also receive access to online CEIAG resources through Unifrog.   https://www.unifrog.org/

Unifrog provides comprehensive resources to support students with making appropriate choices, researching FE and HE providers and the application process.  This resource is provided to students in all year groups and is delivered as part of our tutoring programme. An overview of the careers programme can be found here.
