At Stamford Welland Academy, character education sits at the heart of our mission to develop confident, responsible, and well‑rounded young people. We believe that academic success and character development go hand‑in‑hand, shaping students who are ready to thrive both within school and in life beyond Stamford.

Combined Cadet Forces | There are now CCF contingents in over 400 secondary schools all over the UK, offering young people a broad range of challenging, exciting, adventurous and educational activities. ACTIVE LINCOLNSHIRE | Since it was founded in 2004, Active Lincolnshire has evolved from a sports partnership to an active partnership dedicated to helping improve the lives of Lincolnshire residents by advocating for the positive power of physical activity. We are committed to deliver the national Uniting the Movement strategy set out by Sport England at a local level, through the Let’s Move Lincolnshire initiative, owned by everyone and led by Active Lincolnshire. | |
ARTS COUNCIL FOR ENGLAND | Involvement with arts and culture is crucial to imagination, self-expression and creativity in young people. It also develops the skills that fuel the success of the UK’s creative industries, and that will result in the next generation of creative talent across the country. The Arts Council works with the Department for Education, Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, cultural organisations and artists, schools, cultural partners, broadcasters, local authorities, Higher and Further Education institutions and other partners to ensure the provision of excellent art, museums and libraries for all children and young people. | |
