Guided Pathways

From Year 9 students at Stamford Welland Academy are able to personalise their curriculum whilst maintaining a broad and balanced education.

Below is the ‘Pathways Prospectus 2025’.

To support you in this decision, the subject leaders have prepared literature detailing the course requirements, information about Post-16 uses and contact details should you have further questions about the subjects.

Please ensure that you take time to review all the information, ask questions and discuss this together.  Attached is also a copy of the form that is required to be completed.  A paper version will also be issued to all students.

The form needs to be signed by both students and parents and returned by 31st March 2025.

Students also have log in details for www.unifrog.org, a website used throughout Years 7-11 in Core Studies lessons.  It is a one-stop-shop where students can easily explore their interests in possible future careers, find out what qualifications are needed, and which pathways are available to them to get there.

Parents can have their own account by going to www.unifrog.org/code and using the code SWELparents. Click here for a parental tutorial of Unifrog.

Should a student wish to change their mind after the deadline, they should contact htwigger@stamfordwellandacademy.org urgently. Although there is no guarantee classes will have spaces in or that moves would not cause clashes in subjects.
